The Band

    The Music

    1. Why does my copy of "Blue" have Slow Motion on the last track of the CD, and others have it on track 11?
The first printing of "Blue" has Slow Motion as track 11, and it includes the chorus. The second printing of the CD moved Slow Motion to the last track (track 13), and took the chorus out to make it a true instrumental. All further copies of "Blue" will be like this.
    2. Why does my copy of "Blue" only have an instrumental version of Slow Motion?
The lyrics to Slow Motion (if you haven't seen them, you can read them here) were taken out of the album version of the song because of urging by Elektra. They saw the "controversial" lyrics possibly being taken the wrong way and the song becoming the main focus of the album, which they didn't want to happen. So they offered Third Eye Blind a deal which included a "lot of money" and their own record label on which they could release the full version of Slow Motion on in the future.

    Other Questions

    1. Who is "the boo"?
"The Boo" is Stephans dog, which is an American Staffordshire terrier, or "pit bull". Her real name is Kobuda. Koby or The Boo for short. Kobuda means "little pig" in Japanese.
    2. How do I get backstage passes?
The only ways that I know of, is if you own a fan-site, win them off the radio, or have some connection with the band or crew in some way. The best way to meet the band is to wait outside the back of the venue around the busses after the concert. Sometimes you have to wait for hours, but they have to eventually come out and get on the busses to go on to the next city. They usually take a couple minutes to talk with the fans and sign some autographs. They have been known to take off right after a show, but usually they are pretty good about meeting with the fans. Good luck!
